birdcage

Once upon a time, in a land called Urbana, there lived a wicked art school instructor named Jessica Mullen. One day she caught a little bird. “What a pretty thing you are!”, she said, “I shall have you for my collection!”

Jessica Mullen then took that creature of sunshine and light and put her in a darkened room known only as ,“The Lab”. Every day the little bird toiled, pecking away at a keyboard, struggling to understand the mysteries of XHTML and CSS. Yes, this poor, delicate creature, so pretty, so tame, was attempting to learn web design.

For four tortuous weeks she was required to make memettes (potentially virally replicable pieces of internet culture, preferably humorous).

Then one day Jessica Mullen opened the door to the little bird’s cage and cackled, “Today we will do the crit!” “Oh!”, the little bird chirrupped in fright, “No, no, not the art school crit! I’m not ready!” But it was too late! The cat was out of the bag. Can you find the cat? She is hiding somewhere on this page. Her name is Jenny Gunji. Go visit the little bird's nest to see all her memettes.
